I can't believe it's been 11 months since the release of the first book in this trilogy from Al Daltrey. And what a series it has been! I know the series title is Pleasure, Pain or Purpose but this series gave us so much more. Adventure, passion, danger, humor and let's not forget some really hot sex scenes. Each women grew and changed so much throughout the series. Al Daltrey's vivid description of Bilijana travels made the reader feel like they were right there with her every step of the way. Jasmin had all of us on the edge of our seats and in this recent book laughing as she ventured out and crossed the line looking for something she thought could take the place of what she really wanted. With Vicki I was always cheering her on as she fought for her marriage and then for her life. Just like the three women in this series we all have a path to walk. We discovered through this story that walk isn't necessarily an easy one. But the good things in life never are. I think we can all see a little of each of these women in ourselves. Al does a fabulous job bringing all three of the women's lives to full circle and brings this series to a beautiful, heartwarming ending. An end I didn't want to happen. Al Daltrey knocked it out of the park again with the final book in this series!! For me, this was my favorite book in the series. I truly didn't want it to end because I just loved all the women in this series, especially Billie. Once again, I was taken on a journey in this book to wonderful places. Literally, when Jasmin took her trek on the Camino de Santiago, I walked with her as she tried to find her purpose. I loved the people she met along the way and the stories that were told. I was told by the author that one of the characters and their story were accurate to real life which was beautifully incorporated into the story. In this story, we also continued the story of Vickie and Andrew. Their story is beautiful also, however, I never really felt any real connection to Vickie, but her story was about tremendous growth in the face of adversity as she fights for her life and marriage. For me, the best story in this book was Billie. I've loved Billie from book 1 and it continued through 2 and now 3. I literally laughed and cried with her in this book. The treehouse scenes with Chad are epic!! I was glad to see that with all the changes she went through, she never lost her identity as a submissive and that Chad was willing to accept her as that and even incorporate some of her kinks into their life. In this book, I definitely felt the pain of each woman, the laughter and the joy that they brought to one another's lives. And once again, Al knocks it out of the park with the sex scenes. My favorite was the Black Cloud!! Al beautifully wove all 3 women together and tied it up with a nice bow. I will miss these 3 women but I'm glad I went on the journey with them.

Less than a year ago, Al launched us into the world of three best friends. Surrounded by each other at an outdoor restaurant we caught our first glimpse of their unique personalities. Their struggles in life are not so unique to our own real life hurdles. We all face daily challenges, whether it be health issues, a failing relationship, or the loss of a loved one.
This book, and the entire series, is unlike anything I have ever read before. Each of the three best friends journey is told independently, but intertwine into a well thought out and fantastic storyline. The characters have amazing depth. Their lives are relatable on one level and fantasy on another. Just enough to keep me completely enthralled. We all love a little fantasy!
Billie continues to move on after the tragic and untimely death of her partner David. An old friend of his becomes her rock by not just talking the talk, but walking the walk. He demonstrates his willingness to be her steady hand in unsteady times. Will she be able to keep David in her heart, but also allow someone new in?
Jasmin's indecision between her boss Gladstone and bad boy Diego may mean she loses her chance at true happiness once and for all. She departs on a journey of the Camino de Santiago to help her find peace. When she comes home, will she finally find true happiness?
Vicky fights the battle of her life with cancer. Leading into this devastating news, her marriage with Andrew was on unsteady ground to say the least. His straying ways took a toll on their marriage in more ways than one. Will he stick by her through the toughest time in her life? Will they end up even stronger than they were before?
I'm sad to see the series end. It was a fantastic ride. Al's writing style is truly unique amongst any other author I have ever read.

Oh my gosh. What a beautiful ending to the series. PPP3 is amazing.
Book 3 Purpose finishes up the three book journey of finding love and balance in the lives of Vicky, Biljana and Jasmin. This book is humorous. Al Daltrey's sense of humor really shows in this book. Not only is it funny, it is heartfelt and profoundly written. There were a few times when I was brought to tears (happy and sad) by some of the events that took place. Purpose took me on quite the emotional ride.
Every sexual experience in this book is different from one another. There is rough sex, sex of a BDSM nature, very intimate lovemaking and more. There is even something for the voyeurs out there. Whichever type you enjoy, you will find it here.
I want to go out and build a treehouse. I want to experience a journey like the one Jasmin took. Go to India.
I know that all good things must come to an end, or so the saying goes. I feel like I am losing friends now that the series is over.
Phenomenal writing Al Daltrey. Be proud of your accomplishment with the series.
